The dance floor is for everyone, beginners through professional dancers.  Please be courteous and friendly to everyone.  We host "social dances."  Upturned noses are not allowed.

The line of travel follows a counterclockwise path around the dance floor. The dance floor has one lane normally used for traveling dances such as Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Country Two Step.  The same lane is used for dances that have stop and go movements. Please refrain from doing stop and go dances until one is announced.  You are always welcome to ask the DJ to play and annouce one.

The center of the dance floor is usually used for stationary dances such as Swing and Cha Cha.

When line dances are announced, stationary dances may be done on the  north and south sides of the ballroom.  Line dances are done in the full center of the ballroom.  Please refrain from doing travel dances when line dances are announced; likewise, please do not do line dances unless announced.  You are always welcome to ask the DJ to play and announce one.

Please don't stand and talk anywhere on the dance floor.
If you are seated around the dance floor be prepared to be asked to dance.
If you are not dancing or prepared to dance, please use the balcony for socializing.
Enjoy food served on the balcony.  Food is not allowed on the dance floor.
